These Payment & Checkout Terms (the “Payment Terms”) explain how payments and checkout work on Pictivio.com (the “Website”).

These Payment Terms form part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read together with our Refund Policy and Privacy & Cookies Policy.
By placing an order on the Website, you agree to these Payment Terms.

1. Prices, Currency and Taxes

1.1. Unless otherwise stated, prices for products and services on the Website are generally displayed in United States Dollars (USD).

1.2. Prices may be updated or changed by us from time to time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at checkout at the time you confirm your purchase.

1.3. Where required by law, applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may be included in the displayed price or added at checkout. Any such amounts will be shown to you before you complete your order.

1.4. If your payment method operates in a different currency, the final amount charged and any currency conversion will be determined by your bank or payment provider, using their own exchange rates and fees, which are outside our control.

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method;

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • You authorise us (and any payment service provider acting on our behalf) to charge the full amount of your order.

2.3. Some payment methods may be subject to additional terms or verification procedures as required by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

3. Order Process and Acceptance

3.1. When you place an order through the Website, you will be asked to review and confirm your selection, price, and payment details. Please check all information carefully before submitting.

3.2. After you submit an order, you may receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement is not yet our acceptance of your order, unless explicitly stated.

3.3. An order is considered accepted when:

  • Payment has been successfully authorised and processed; and

  • We provide you with access to the purchased digital content or confirm your booking for services.

3.4. We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to decline or cancel an order, including after payment, for reasons such as:

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity;

  • Incorrect pricing or obvious errors on the Website;

  • Technical issues;

  • Legal or compliance reasons.

In such cases, we may cancel or refund the transaction in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.

4. Failed or Rejected Payments

4.1. If your payment is declined, rejected, or otherwise fails:

  • Your order may not be accepted; and

  • You may be asked to provide an alternative payment method or to try again.

4.2. If we discover that a payment has been reversed, charged back, or is otherwise invalid after content or services have been provided, we may:

  • Request a valid replacement payment;

5. Delivery of Digital Content (Downloads)

5.1. For digital products such as photos and other downloadable files (“Digital Content”), delivery is made in electronic form only.

5.2. After successful payment and order acceptance, you will typically receive access to the purchased Digital Content through:

  • A download button or link displayed on the Website (for example, in the order confirmation page or your account area); and/or

  • A confirmation e-mail with information on how to access or download the files, where applicable.

5.3. Access to download links or buttons may be available for a limited or reasonable period. While we aim to maintain access for a reasonable time, we do not guarantee indefinite availability. We may, for example, remove or archive older orders or files as part of normal operations.

5.4. You are responsible for downloading and securely storing copies of the Digital Content you purchase. We are not obligated to provide replacement downloads if:

  • You fail to download within a reasonable period; or

  • You delete or lose your local copies, except where required by law or covered under our Refund Policy.

6. Services and Booking Payments

6.1. For services (including but not limited to Creative Greetings, Live & Loud, Meme Lab, and Full-Service Shoots), payment terms may vary depending on the type of service, scope of work, and any agreement made with you.

6.2. Some services may require:

  • Full payment in advance;

  • A deposit to secure a date or start work;

  • Staged payments according to a schedule.

Such details will be indicated on the Website, in your booking flow, or in a separate agreement or confirmation.

6.3. Your booking is not fully confirmed until:

  • Any required payment or deposit has been received; and

  • We have issued a booking confirmation or similar notice.

6.4. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for services are governed by our Refund Policy and any specific service terms communicated to you.

7. Pricing Errors and Obvious Mistakes

7.1. In the event that a product or service is listed with an obvious and unmistakable pricing error (for example, an unrealistic or clearly incorrect price), we are not obligated to provide the item at that incorrect price.

7.2. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we may:

  • Cancel the order and refund any amounts paid; or

  • Contact you with the correct price and give you the option to reconfirm or cancel your order.

We will act reasonably and promptly in such situations.

8. Security and Third-Party Payment Services

8.1. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect payment-related information and to keep the checkout process secure.

10. Relationship with Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions

10.1. These Payment Terms should be read together with our Refund Policy, which explains when and how refunds may be issued for Digital Content and Services.

10.2. In the event of any inconsistency between these Payment Terms and the Refund Policy, the Refund Policy will govern as to the availability and conditions of refunds, unless expressly stated otherwise.

10.3. Your use of the Website, purchases, and any contributor activities are also governed by our Terms & Conditions. If there is a conflict between these Payment Terms and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions will generally prevail for matters beyond payment and checkout.

11. Changes to These Payment Terms

We may update or modify these Payment & Checkout Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the Website, and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be updated.
